MATRIXELLENT INC. is a Delaware charitable nonstock corporation that is exempt from taxation under § 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code [26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(3)], or any successor provisions (8 DGCL § 114(d)(1)). MATRIXELLENT INC. is primarily organized and operated for fundamental research and has been approved to be a nonprofit research organization by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), under IRC 501(c)(3), that is primarily engaged in basic research (8 CFR 214.2(h)(19)(iv)(A)) that is carried on for the purpose of aiding in the scientific education of college or university students (26 CFR 1.501(c)(3)-1(d)(5)(iii)(c)(1)) and has been approved as a tax exempt organization for research or educational purposes by the Internal Revenue Service (8 CFR 214.2(h)(19)(iv)(B)).

MATRIXELLENT INC., a Delaware Charitable Nonstock Corporation, is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization for scientific, educational, and charitable purposes (26 CFR 1.501(c)(3)-1(a)). As a scientific organization, MATRIXELLENT INC. is both organized and operated in the public interest by conducting fundamental research and its scientific research is also carried on for the purpose of aiding in the scientific education of college or university students (26 CFR 1.501(c)(3)-1(d)(5)(iii)(c)(1)). MATRIXELLENT INC. is primarily engaged in basic research to gain more comprehensive knowledge or understanding of the subject under study, without specific applications in mind. Basic research performed by MATRIXELLENT INC. advances scientific knowledge, but does not have specific immediate commercial objectives although it may be in fields of present or potential commercial interest. Basic research may include research and investigation in the sciences, social sciences, or humanities (8 CFR 214.2(h)(19)(iii)(C)).
